Football Foundation Pitch Maintenance Funding Secured

East Leake Playing Fields and Pavilion has secured Football Foundation Grass Pitch Maintenance Funding, with support from Nottinghamshire FA and Replay Maintenance.
The funding will enable a long-term programme of professional pitch maintenance at the multi-sport community facility, which provides grounds for football, rugby and cricket, among other activities.
Replay Maintenance will deliver a schedule of weed control, overseeding, aeration and fertiliser applications to improve playing surfaces and help them withstand increasingly unpredictable weather.
The company also supported East Leake through the funding application process, following an introduction by Nottinghamshire FA.
Dave Curtis, Facilities Manager at East Leake Playing Fields and Pavilion, said the funding would help the facility improve pitch quality and reduce disruption caused by drought and flooding.
Replay Maintenance’s Head of Natural Turf, Ben Sadler, said the company supports clubs through the PitchPower inspection and funding application process, as well as delivering ongoing maintenance.
