Don’t Skimp On Cricket Renovations

Now is the time for planning

Laurence Gale says a successful cricket season starts with what you do to the square when the previous one ends, so clubs should be planning their renovations now rather than leaving them until the autumn rush.

I am mindful that the cricket playing season will be ending in the next few weeks with many turf professionals turning their attentions to end of season renovations. These start for some school groundsmen in August, whereas most grassroots cricket clubs do not start their renovations until late September, early October.
