Expanding natural turf division
Replay Maintenance has invested in a Redexim Verti-Drain 7416 aerator and Overseeder 3D 1575 to support the growth of its natural turf division.
The specialist contractor has already used both machines on grassroots sports pitches across the UK, reporting improvements in grass establishment and playing surface quality.
Natural Turf Manager Ben Sadler said the company selected the Verti-Drain based on previous experience of its reliability, versatility and ability to aerate to depth with minimal surface disruption. The Overseeder 3D 1575 has also proved useful on grassroots sites, offering straightforward seed-rate adjustment and minimal disturbance to playing surfaces.
At St Giles Park in Nottingham, Replay Maintenance carried out aeration and overseeding following a wet winter and dry summer that had left pitches bare and previous seeding unsuccessful. The subsequent work reportedly delivered improved grass coverage.
Replay Maintenance plans to continue expanding its natural turf division, supporting clubs benefiting from the Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund and targeting further work on cricket outfields, rugby pitches and golf courses.
