Rt Machinery Gain Living Wage Accreditation
Dealer felt it was 'right thing to do'
RT Machinery, the professional turfcare machinery dealership based in Nether Winchendon, Aylesbury, have announced their Living WageEmployer accreditation.
The company said this is a commitment to pay all their staff the real Living Wage – a rate independently calculated and based on what people actually need to live. This rate is higher than both the government’s minimum wage and national living wage and ensures that employees earn enough to meet the cost of living.
Managing director, Richard Taylor, said, “As a responsible employer and with a consideration to the long-term commitment that we have to both our people and our clients, we just felt it was the right thing to do to support and participate in such a worthwhile movement.”
