PARTICIPATION ANNOUNCED

Origin Amenity Solutions (OAS) has announced its participation in the Honda Rugby Grounds Connected (HRGC) events, the RFU's official communication network for rugby grounds.

These events, aimed at grounds people of all levels of experience, knowledge, and expertise, offer free and valuable insights into effective ground management.

The most recent event was held at Crowborough RFC, with upcoming events on Tuesday 11th June at Didcot RFC and Wednesday 19th June at Lutterworth RFC.

For the past three years, OAS say they have been a steadfast supporter of HRGC events throughout the UK, showcasing advanced technologies and sharing expert knowledge in pitch management.

This year, they will be carrying out live line marking demonstrations including the iGO Premier and their line marking robot, the TinyLineMarker Sport.

Kelly-Marie Clack, UK technical manager from OAS, will present at these events. She will share her expertise and address the evolving challenges in pitch management. Reflecting on recent trends, Kelly said, "As the weather has changed over the last few years, the topic of conversation has shifted. In 2022, discussions focused on drought and optimising pitch performance with limited water. Over the last two years, the focus has moved to managing the large volumes of water we now experience. We discuss soil texture, aeration, seed, weed control, and fertilisers. The key message is aeration, aeration, aeration."

Kelly will delve into the benefits of using controlled-release fertilisers and perennial ryegrass for rugby pitch renovations in her presentation. These solutions are crucial for maintaining optimal playing conditions in varying weather scenarios.

“We look forward to engaging with the community at the HRGC events and sharing our latest innovations and strategies.”, added Kelly.
