GPS TURF TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LAUNCHES IN UK

A new player in precision turf care has entered the UK market.

Danish company Traqnology, who describe themselves a pioneer in GPS-driven turf management systems, has announced its official UK launch.

Already well-established across Europe and the US, Traqnology say they bring two main innovations to the UK: an advanced GPS line marking system and Turftraq, a precision mowing solution. Both use high-accuracy GPS guidance.

According to the company, an 11-a-side football pitch can be marked out in eight minutes using its system. Operated via an iPad interface, users can select and save layouts for different sports.

The Turftraq system applies the same GPS steering technology to mowing, enabling straight lines, reduced overlap, and lower fuel consumption. It is compatible with a wide range of ride-on mowers and turf equipment.

Traqnology says its arrival in the UK will help groundstaff and contractors achieve “smarter, faster and more sustainable” maintenance across pitches, estates and parklands.
