GMA SHIFT AWARDS

The GMA have announced that the next edition of their Industry Awards will now be held on Thursday 13 March 2025, kicking off their annual awareness campaign, #GroundsWeek, which will take place between 17-23 March 2025.

Historically held at Birmingham’s NEC alongside SALTEX, before being hosted at Headingley Stadium in Leeds last November, the 2025 awards will feature a range of categories, including Newcomer of the Year, Environmental and Sustainability Impact Award, Community Groundsperson/Team of the Year, Best Managed Artificial Surface of the Year, and many more.

The Association says a new venue has been secured for the 2025 awards, with the details to be revealed soon.

.Geoff Webb, CEO of the GMA, said, “We are thrilled to announce the return of our Industry Awards in March 2025, especially given that it now coincides with #GroundsWeek which provides the ideal opportunity to celebrate excellence within the grounds care industry.

“Because of this exciting change, we won’t be holding a separate awards ceremony in 2024. Instead, we’re combining it with #GroundsWeek which will allow us to truly showcase the best in the industry during this special week celebration.”
