Working Hours: 40 per week 
Essential: Please note, the candidate must be HGV2 or have Grandfather rights. CPC must be up to date. The candidate must also be over the age of 25 due to an insurance caveat.

Job Objective:

To provide efficient and safe transport of products across the country in a professional and efficient manner. Able to travel for prolonged periods of time where overnight stays away from home will be necessary. 

Core Tasks / Result Areas:

  • Move machinery as required to support operational requirements. Working closely with the Transport Manager to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Responsible for daily vehicle checks and notification of any faults.
  • Wash down equipment and prepare machinery for demonstrations and tournaments.  
  • Assist in general yard duties whilst on site, as per the requirements of the Branch Manager
  • Keep Licence and CPC up to date.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers by treating people with dignity and respect.
  • Take pride in your appearance and be presentable to our customers at all times.
  • To be responsible for the Health & Safety issues within your areas of control in accordance with Company Health & Safety policies.
  • Attend any relevant training sessions to ensure you are fully equipped to perform your duties effectively.
  • To be flexible and assist your colleagues where necessary.
  • Be prepared for overnight stays away from home when necessary.
  • Be able to work alone and achieve the desired results on time and up to the standard required. 
  • Assist in all other areas of the company as operational requirements demand.
