ALS CONTRACT SERVICES PURCHASED

J. Mallinson have announced that following a period of extensive searching for a specialist strategic business partner, they have purchased ALS Contract Services from Agrovista, a supplier of agronomy advice, seed, crop protection products and precision farming services for an undisclosed fee. 

The company says the acquisition will protect the long-term future of ALS and the business will provide a workforce of 35 in construction and sports pitch management across the new structure. 

J. Mallinson say the acquisition will offer great benefits to clients of both companies providing more extensive geographic coverage, a greater depth of resources and also complimentary sports pitch construction and turf management services. This new structure will provide a single point of contact and turnkey solution for companies looking to commission the services of contractors that provide a range of sports pitch construction and turfing solutions.  

J Mallinson (Ormskirk) Ltd is a company based in the Northwest of England applying over 45 years’ experience to provide sports field construction. Over the years the company has produced sports fields for football, cricket, horse racing, golf, and other facilities.

ALS Contracts are a sports turf contractor that have provided professional grounds maintenance services for over 30 years. Their focus is on large scale pesticide spraying, end of season renovation, aeration of sports turf and drainage works.
